Which product is best for my senior dog? Plus

If they're showing signs of stiffness: Mobility & Joints

If they're still mobile but aging: Pure Collagen for prevention + Bone Broth for gut support and appetite

Many senior dog owners use multiple products together for comprehensive support.

Can I use multiple products together? Plus

Yes. They complement each other.

Common combinations:

You can give them in the same meal or split between meals.

My dog doesn't have joint issues yet. Do I need this? Plus

If your dog is healthy, start with Pure Collagen for prevention.

Prevention is easier than treatment. Starting early (especially for large breeds) helps maintain joint health as they age.

Switch to Mobility & Joints if joint issues develop later.

Which breeds benefit most from collagen supplements? Plus

Any breed can develop joint issues, but these are most prone:

  • German Shepherds
  • Labradors & Golden Retrievers
  • Rottweilers
  • Great Danes
  • Bulldogs (English & French)
  • Bernese Mountain Dogs
  • Dachshunds (back issues)

Large breeds and breeds with short legs or long backs benefit most from early prevention.

About Collagen
What is collagen, and how does it benefit my dog? Plus

Collagen is the structural protein that holds your dog together. It makes up 30% of their total protein and 90% of their muscles, tendons, and ligaments.

As dogs age, collagen production drops. This leads to weaker joints, increased injury risk, and declining skin, coat, and nail health.

Supplementing helps replenish what they're losing.

What's the difference between Type I, II, and III collagen? Plus

Types I & III: Most abundant in your dog's body. Make up skin, bones, tendons, ligaments, and the connective tissue supporting joints.

Type II: Specialised type found in cartilage. Only a small fraction of total body collagen.

Our Pure Collagen and Mobility & Joints focus on Types I & III because they support the entire joint structure, not just cartilage.

What are hydrolysed collagen peptides? Plus

Standard collagen molecules are too large for your dog to absorb.

Hydrolysed collagen peptides are broken down into tiny pieces small enough to pass through the gut and into the bloodstream.

Studies show these peptides accumulate directly in joints, skin, and connective tissue.

This is why hydrolysed collagen works when standard collagen doesn't.

What's the difference between collagen and glucosamine? Plus

Collagen: Provides building blocks for the entire joint structure (cartilage, tendons, ligaments, connective tissue).

Glucosamine: Supports cartilage specifically.

They work differently. Mobility & Joints combines both for comprehensive support.

How is bone broth collagen different from Pure Collagen? Plus

Bone Broth: Whole-food extract with 40% collagen plus natural gelatin, minerals, and nutrients. Has lots of flavour.

Pure Collagen: 100% isolated collagen peptides (6,000mg), hydrolysed for maximum absorption. Tasteless.

Bone Broth = whole-food approach, great for gut health and picky eaters.

Pure Collagen = clinical-grade supplement, maximum collagen content.

Both work. Different purposes.

Usage & Results
How long will it take to see results? Plus

Most owners notice changes between weeks 3-6 with daily use.

Some dogs respond faster. Some take longer. Stick with it for at least 8 weeks before deciding if it's working.

You're helping rebuilding tissue, not masking symptoms. This takes good time to get to work and show positive results.

What should I expect week-by-week? Plus

Week 2-3: Improved coat texture, less itching
Week 4-6: Better mobility, easier standing, more enthusiasm for walks
Week 6-8+: Sustained joint comfort, increased energy

Individual results vary based on age, severity of issues, and overall health.

How do I feed it to my dog? Plus

Pure Collagen & Mobility & Joints:
Sprinkle the recommended amount over wet or dry food. Mix in or leave on top.

Bone Broth:
Mix with warm water to create gravy, OR sprinkle dry as a topper.

If your dog is fussy:

  • Mix with water first
  • Start with a smaller amount and build up gradually
  • For Bone Broth: add warm water to create gravy (most dogs love this)
How much should I give my dog? Plus

Dosage depends on weight. Check the scoop / spoon guide on your product packaging.

General guide:

  • Small dogs (under 10kg): 0.5 scoop
  • Medium dogs (11-20kg): 1 scoops
  • Large dogs (21-30kg): 2 scoops
  • X-Large dogs (31kg+): 3 scoops
Does it matter when I give it (morning or evening)? Plus

No. Timing doesn't matter, ensuring consistency does.

What if my dog won't eat it? Plus

Pure Collagen & Mobility & Joints are tasteless. Most dogs don't notice them.

If your dog is extremely fussy:

  1. Start with half dose mixed thoroughly into food
  2. Gradually increase over a week
  3. Try mixing with water first, then adding to food

If they still won't eat it: Try Bone Broth instead / as well as. The beef flavour makes it irresistible to most dogs.

Can I mix it with water? Plus

Yes, all three products dissolve in water.

  • Gluten-free: Yes, naturally gluten-free (all products)
  • Grain-free: Yes (all products)
  • Raw diet: Yes, works with any food (all products)
  • Low-fat diet: Check with vet (Bone Broth contains some fat)

Always read the label and consult your vet if your dog becomes unwell.

Can these supplements be used alongside other medications or supplements? Plus
  • Yes. Our supplements work alongside other products without issue.
  • If your dog is on medication please consult your vet first.

  • Puppies under 6 months: Consult your vet first.
Are the supplements safe for dogs with allergies? Plus

Yes. Collagen peptides are allergen-free.

Is it suitable for my dog on a vegetarian or vegan diet? Plus

No. Collagen is derived from animals (beef, fish or pork). True vegan collagen doesn't exist.

How long can my dog take it for? Do I need to cycle it? Plus
  • No time limit. These are maintenance supplements, not short-term treatments.
  • We recommend continued daily use throughout your dog's life to maintain collagen levels.
  • You do not need to cycle it. Collagen is meant for continuous, long-term use.
  • This isn't like a medication that needs breaks. Keep giving it daily for best results.
Product Quality & Ingredients
What grade is your Collagen? Plus
  • Human-grade ingredients. The same quality standards we'd expect for ourselves.
  • Many pet supplements use lower-grade ingredients that wouldn't pass for human consumption. We don't.
