    Beef bone broth powder

We feed our Boxer dog a complete dry food, but I’m always on the lookout for ways to make it tastier and more exciting…so I ordered this beef bone broth powder to see what it was like. The powder ( actually more fine, dry flakes) comes in a large resealable pouch. We keep our dog on a low-cereal diet, so it’s great to know that this is 100% bone derivatives. The powder is really simple to use ….I wanted to add a gravy layer to moisten our dog’s dry food, and this powder mixes easily with warm water to form a smooth gravy, which can then be poured over the food. You can also simply add the powder in its dry form, if preferred. Smellwise, it has a mildly meaty smell- certainly not unpleasant- and tastewise, it’s clearly good as our dog wolfs it down! Overall, a very reasonable price for the quantity you get…the pack can be used for upto 30 days once opened, and you can choose exactly how much you make up each time, which makes it very economical.

    5 stars!

My fussy labradoodle turns her nose up at most toppers, but this beef bone broth powder from Pat's Pet Kitchen has her licking the bowl clean every time. I just sprinkle a teaspoon over her kibble, add a splash of warm water, and it turns into a rich gravy she can’t resist.

Been using the 180g pouch for a month now and I think her coat’s gone noticeably glossier, must be the collagen doing its stuff. No nasties, just proper natural ingredients, and the resealable pouch keeps it fresh. Worth every penny for a happier, shinier pup.

    Very tasty for your dog.

My two dogs like this a lot, you can mix it with water or sprinkle on there food, i like to mix it with the water and watch them lap it up. The look on there faces after they finish is like there telling me that that was lovely. Great tasting beef bone broth with added supplements to help with there gut, bones, skin and coat.

Its a yes from the dog

I have used this to make my dogs dry food more appetising, it's easy to mix - just a spoonful and some warm water mix and pour. It can also just be sprinkled dry over food. A little goes a long way.

No complaints from the dog although it does make his breath smell.

It comes in a resealable bag and has a long expiration date.

Great tasting bone broth that dogs love with added supplements.

I decided to try this bone broth as I have two shih tzus - one who is very fussy!

Firstly, I love the extra supplements in this. It’s packed with good things like calcium, chondroitin, glucosamine, collagen and iron. All these ingredients are beneficial to support your dog’s bones, digestion, joints and skin and particularly good for older dogs. I think it’s a great way of introducing them into a dog’s diet instead of the usual “gummie” or capsule which might be harder to administer.

As for the taste both dogs liked it! They weren’t so keen on the gravy alternative but happily ate it sprinkled on top of their food. It has a very light powder texture so once you know your quantity it’s easy to just spoon out. Great resealable packaging too!

Asked by owners

Anything else? Message us and we'll sort it.
Will it win over a properly fussy eater? Plus

It's the closest thing we have to a guarantee. The savoury smell does the persuading, and most owners see the bowl finished from the very first meal.

Dry or as a gravy? Plus

Both work. Sprinkle it dry over any food, or stir into warm water (around 100ml per 6g serving, roughly 60°C, not boiling) for a rich, clump-free gravy that coats kibble and adds hydration. Let it cool before serving.

Is this the same as liquid bone broth? Plus

Same idea, different form. It starts as slow-simmered beef bones, then the water is removed to leave a powder that needs no fridge and keeps for months. Add water back and you have the gravy.

Can I give it alongside Pure Collagen or Mobility & Joints? Plus

Yes, they're designed to pair. The broth carries flavour and hydration while the collagen formulas do the daily structural work.

Does it work with my dog's diet? Plus

Yes. It suits kibble, raw, wet and home-cooked feeding, including grain-free and gluten-free diets. Not suitable for dogs allergic to beef.

Is it suitable for puppies? Plus

Yes, from 6 months. Use the smallest serving. It is a good way to make the switch to solid food more tempting.

What is the source? Plus

As with all our ingredients, our Beef Bone Broth is human-grade and comes from French cattle.

Why is there 15% fat? Plus

Because it is a whole-food broth rather than a refined isolate. The fat comes straight from the bones, carries the savoury flavour that wins over fussy eaters, and is an easily digested source of energy.

Can I freeze it? Plus

Yes. Mix with water, pour into an ice cube tray and freeze for a cooling summer treat.

How does the subscription work? Plus

Pick your dog's size and we deliver a fresh pouch as the last one runs out. Every delivery is 20% off with free UK delivery. Pause, skip or cancel whenever you like from your account.

How does the 60-day guarantee work? Plus

It covers the first pouch of a new subscription. Give it at least 4 weeks of daily servings and if you haven't seen a difference by day 60, message us and we'll refund that pouch. One claim per customer, nothing to send back.
